The Attar Company was established with the scientific cooperation of German organizations and research centers on a scientific and constitutional basis under the supervision of specialized pharmacists working hand in hand with science through natural medication. 

The advanced countries and health institutions have expressed much interest to support the researches studying medication through natural herbs and plants. This is done either by using them as precautions against diseases or assisting cure for severe cases or a replacement for other cases. The return to nature was the main choice of the Attar Company adopting the motto (natural with German experience). 

The company looks also forward to realize "your health from nature" by preparing many researches about how to use the natural herbs as precautions against and cure for diseases.

The agricultural, pharmaceutical and medical staffs work altogether to realize the motto. 

Agricultural department:

This department is interested in cultivating and harvesting the plants available in Syria by the necessary conditions for this operation. Agricultural engineers work in this department as well as trained workers in collecting plants and qualified farmers working in the company's own lands and invested ones.

Pharmaceutical department:

This department consists of pharmacists and specialists in the medical plants field. They work in the labs, manufacturing department, production and technical management.

Medical department:

It consists of a group of doctors who practice on the researches of the compounds use with the cooperation of the German institution for vegetal researches, Poul Mugenburg Germany, which is a branch of the mother company Hand in Hand Heidlberg Germany Gmbh, who markets its products in Germany, European Union, Americas and Australia under the name Naturmann. They are high purity and quality vegetal compounds with the German nutrition organization DEKO certificate for the progress and development of this industry and protect and accomplish the world health organization conditions. It also cares to present them with the highest quality as well as the cooperation with research parties in France, Martin Bauer, under the Syrian health ministry supervision.

Chemical department:

it consists of chemists responsible for the chemical tests in the lab.

The working procedure for the compounds production is as the following:

1- the research and development team defines the disease to be cured with the cooperation of the German research center. They search for the plants that cure it and then they decide on a formula corresponding to an international one. It is then registered in the Syrian health ministry after completing the studies on every component of the natural and medical ones used by many European and American references, especially the PDR (physicians desk reference) for herbal medicine that corresponds to FDA (food and drug administration), the German committee for medical herbs Commission E and phytopharm U.S institute. 

2- the industrialization formula is defined and upon it the required amounts from each plant as per the following model

- the plants name in Arabic.

- the plants name in Latin (as per Linee).

- the plants name in English and French.

- plant family.

- plant description.

- defining the user.

- the effective and ineffective subjects with the international concentrations.

- the collection time (year, month, season, day, period) to obtain the best concentration of the effective subjects

3- the production procedures: the formula is defined and then a trial quantity is produced, flavored with vegetal flavors i.e. the cinnamon is a flavor for hot mixtures and peppermint for cold mixtures.

After accepting the formula, the manufacturing quantities are defined; the vegetal ingredients are grinded separately, the mixture components are identified and at last are systematically distributed as mentioned before.

Afterwards, the produced powder is automatically filled in the vegetal cellulose bags in the form of an envelope with 4 corners in order to enable the effective subjects to diffuse. Then, they are filled in conserving bags which preserve the plants essences of oils. Finally, they are organized in packages, making sure of the bags and packages weight periodically.

4-the printing process of the inside leaflet and the packages by a specialized pharmaceutical team with a staff containing designers and programming and computer experts.

- quickened stability: through changing the keeping conditions of the compound and then studying the occurred changes.

- shelf stability experiments: 5 different lot samples are left on a shelf within the natural conditions and go back and make sure of their validity period mentioned on it.

These steps lead to obtain Attar products, which prove that Attar is a vital medical company and its products are treated as medicine for sterilization, compound, fill, experiments, health record and responsible staff for the production and scientific study. 

Keeping in mind that Attar Company is the first establisher of herbal medical industry in the Arab World.
